NAVENTO® Technologies, affiliate of Ezentis, is a Spanish technology company focusing its main business activities on the development and operation of GPS location services.

NAVENTO has developed a solution for organ transportation around their GPS and GPRS products and they have contacted FARSENS for the development of a wireless temperature sensor to monitor the temperature during the transportation to ensure the quality of the organs.

The first phase of the project has recently finished. FARSENS has used Bluetooth 2.1 monitoring devices in order to communicate with ambulance crew’s portable tablets. Next phases aim at implementing the Bluetooth receiver in their GPS/GPRS solution in order to have the full solution in a single device.
